2000

Business launches its first owned and operated content site CelebrityBlvd.com to cater to entertainment fans.
 
2001

Parent company operates under the name Gorilla Nation Media (“GN”).
 
2003

Company forms two main business segments- one focused on media and the other on marketing services.

Evolve Media is the online publishing business unit.

Gorilla Nation Media is the online advertising marketing services unit. GN serves as the exclusive advertising representation of premium publishers that serve entertainment and gaming fans. Exclusive websites under GN representation include Scifi.com, Rotten Tomatoes, and TV.com.
 
2004

The company expands its online publishing business by acquiring viral quiz site Quizilla.com and forming millennial male site Craveonline.com.
 
2005

Gorilla Nation Launches GN Kids, an online advertising company to provide kids marketers with innovative high-impact ad formats to reach children online.
 
2006

Company sells its publishing site Quizilla to Viacom CBS to fund the purchase of an additional eight leading online content sites over the several years.
 
2007

Forms international Canadian subsidiary to conduct business operations in Canada.

Acquires SheKnows Media, a leading women's digital publishing company.

Renames parent company Evolve Media Holdings ("EMH") to clearly outline the holding company structure as the business seeks to diversify beyond its core publishing operations.

EMH forms a business subsidiary for Evolve Media that contains all of its owned and operated publishing assets.
 
2012

Sells the SheKnows business unit to Great Hill Partners, a Boston-based private equity company. GHP renames business She Media and later sells it to Penske Media in 2018.

EMH acquires a minority equity interest in leading British gaming e-tailer Green Man Gaming through its acquisition of social gaming network, Playfire. More
 
2014

EMH's Australian legal entity acquires MusicFeeds, the premiere Australian music news site.
 
2015

EMH forms a separate portfolio company for TotallyKidz to house its kids' marketing services company. More

EMH acquires and forms a subsidiary for Martini Media, the industry-leading marketing services company providing online advertising solutions targeting affluent audiences online. More

Forms international Mexican subsidiary to conduct business operations in Mexico.

EMH partners with longtime Canadian Evolve executives Walder Amaya and Chris Lombardi to launch the brand-focused mobile marketing company, Apex Mobile Media.

Evolve Media Holdings moves its worldwide headquarters to Beverly Hills, California.
